Each year at the auction, St. Albans chooses a project benefiting students of all ages to support. This year, the Fund-a-Need project is a playground “facelift;” specifically, we would like to replace the aging basketball standards!

 

The basketball courts are used at recess and during PE, too.  Mrs. Shiro utilizes these courts frequently during her classes. During free play, students of all ages play a myriad of games on a daily basis! However, many of our outdoor basketball standards need repair, and school-grade equipment such as these are quite costly. Unfortunately, these are not the same type of hoops that you can purchase for home use! We will replace and update as many as possible depending on the amount of money raised. We know our students will be thrilled to have a playground facelift!
